Proceeding contribution from Lord Campbell of Alloway (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 17 December 2008. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander Limited (Determination of Compensation) Order 2008, Heritable Bank plc (Determination of Compensation) Order 2008, Bradford & Bingley plc Compensation Scheme Order 2008.

Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander Limited (Determination of Compensation) Order 2008, Heritable Bank plc (Determination of Compensation) Order 2008, Bradford & Bingley plc Compensation Scheme Order 2008

My Lords, after reading Monday’s Official Report, may I respectfully ask the noble Lord whether it is appropriate for the three compensation orders to be moved en bloc, given that the circumstances for each order are disparate?
