Proceeding contribution from Baroness Royall of Blaisdon (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 4 February 2009. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on Postponement of Local Elections (Northern Ireland) Order 2009.

Postponement of Local Elections (Northern Ireland) Order 2009

That would seem logical. However, for the moment, I must say that before too much of 2011 elapses, we will look at the reviews, consider the progress and come back to Parliament. At this time, it would be wrong for me to say whether that would mean that elections would take place under the old boundaries. It is too soon to say. Motion agreed.
