Carers

I follow the hon. Lady's logic. Does she agree that the Government are teasing carers? On the one hand they say, ““We will look at your position in the context of a single working-age benefit and you may get an income replacement benefit from us.”” On the other, they say, ““Oh no, we do not think that an income replacement benefit is right for carers.”” Are the Government not trailing their coat for sympathy from the carers without actually doing anything?
