Proceeding contribution from Sarah McCarthy-Fry (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 3 March 2009. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Primary School Places (London).

Primary School Places (London)

When I have the data in front of me, I will consider it, but I will wait until I have had the information from London Councils and the Association of London Directors of Children's Services because I want to see exactly where the problems are. Based on January 2008 capacity data, many London authorities, including those that underestimated pupil numbers, seem to have sufficient spare places at local authority level to meet current demand.
