Proceeding contribution from Ian Pearson (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 26 March 2009. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Arms Export Controls.

We have debated the matter on a number of occasions, and the Government remain of the view that getting it right at the licensing and application stage must be the most sensible, logical, proportionate and cost-effective approach.
