Proceeding contribution from Lord Hain (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 10 June 2009. It occurred during Opposition day on Dissolution of Parliament.
Dissolution of Parliament
Let me make some progress. We now have the hon. Gentleman on the record as being indifferent to a Tory Government, and the people of Scotland will note that. People who back the nationalists get the Tories on their coat tails, just as the Tories are on the nationalists' coat tails in voting for today's motion. That is what the nationalists are: tartan Tories in Scotland and daffodil Tories in Westminster.
