Proceeding contribution from Viscount Montgomery of Alamein (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 24 June 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Bill.
Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Bill
I have listened to the debate with considerable interest, as somebody who is quite new to the Bill. My query concerns the different service that exists in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. It seems rather odd that it cannot apply to England.
