Proceeding contribution from Chair of Committees of the Whole House in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 1 July 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on Parliamentary Standards Bill.
Parliamentary Standards Bill
As far as the Chair is concerned, our proceedings must simply follow the order that is set out before us. I am sure that if the Justice Secretary wishes to alter those arrangements or make any other interventions, he will do so in his own time. I understand that amendment No. 63 is not to be moved. Question proposed, That the clause stand part of the Bill.
