Proceeding contribution from Baroness Miller of Chilthorne Domer (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Monday, 6 July 2009. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on Policing and Crime Bill.
Policing and Crime Bill
I will read the Minister’s reply and before Report ask my noble and learned friends’ advice about whether the Bill as drafted should pass into law, given the reservations I expressed when moving the amendment. I hear what the Minister says but I still have considerable doubts. In the mean time, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment 74 withdrawn. Amendment 75 not moved.
