Proceeding contribution from Annette Brooke (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 21 October 2009. It occurred during Opposition day on Equitable Life.
Equitable Life
It is interesting to note that the Government use the word "expeditiously" in their amendment. Perhaps timeliness is now very belatedly being addressed. Does my hon. Friend agree that Sir John Chadwickâs remit does not offer us the opportunity to be assured that there will be full transparency and fairness?
