Proceeding contribution from Lord McKenzie of Luton (Labour) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 22 October 2009. It occurred during Debate on bill on Welfare Reform Bill.
Welfare Reform Bill
My Lords, it would be outrageous for the Government to ask a member of the General Medical Council to do anything that was outwith its stated policy and ethics. I say to the noble Baroness that if she feels able not to press the amendment, we will come back to this holistically at Third Reading.
