Proceeding contribution from Peter Soulsby (Labour) in the House of Commons on Monday, 30 November 2009. It occurred during Adjournment debate on British Waterways.
British Waterways
Does the Minister accept that if the source of partnerships he mentions are to be meaningful and if British Waterways is to play a full part in leading those partnerships, it needs to be able to bring to the table the property assets that it has at the moment so that those assets can be used as part of the partnerships in the very constructive ways that my hon. Friend the Member for Stourbridge (Lynda Waltho) has described?
