Proceeding contribution from Peter Bone (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 14 January 2010. It occurred during Debate on bill on Canterbury City Council Bill.

Canterbury City Council Bill

Subsection (5) states that "any perishable item" will be""disposed of by the council"" for "the best possible price". If the council were to secure the best possible price, I assume it would have to peddle such items again on the streets. Does that make any sense?
