Proceeding contribution from Lord Northbourne (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 21 January 2010. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Child Poverty Bill.
Child Poverty Bill
My Lords, I also support the earlier amendments. I take this opportunity to say that I had not realised that I was not going to be able to reply to my two amendments, and so I shall move them in their proper place. However, in the mean time, I think that the noble Lord is profoundly mistaken and I hope that he will think again.
