Proceeding contribution from Edward Leigh (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 21 January 2010. It occurred during Debate on bill on Bournemouth Borough Council Bill [Lords].
Bournemouth Borough Council Bill [Lords]
Of course I take your strictures, Mr. Deputy Speaker. To conclude, if the Bill is to be imposed, let us ensure that its provisions do as little damage to the peddling community as possible. Let us support my hon. Friend's amendment, which would at least restrict the area to the town centre, so that we do not force pedlars out of business in the wider area.
