I am very grateful to the Minister for that. As I am on a roll, is she prepared to accept new clause 7? [Interruption.] Perhaps I am pushing my luck a bit too far, but I believe that we have put a convincing, compelling case for new clause 7 as well. It supports what Sir Mark Potter, the president of the family division, has urged us to do. I do not want to be unkind to the Minister, because I am very grateful to her, but on that basis I intend to press new clause 7 to a vote. Question put and agreed to. New clause 2 accordingly read a Second time, and added to the Bill. Proceedings interrupted (Programme Order, 11 January). The Deputy Speaker put forthwith the Questions necessary for the disposal of the business to be concluded at that time (Standing Order No. 83E).
