Proceeding contribution from Lindsay Hoyle (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 10 March 2010. It occurred during Adjournment debate on International Financial Transactions (Tax).
International Financial Transactions (Tax)
I welcome you to the Chair, Mr. Benton, and I congratulate my hon. Friend on securing this debate. As he pointed out, it is important that it remains a cross-party subject. Does he agree that we want to see even more names on the early-day motion, and that that is a good way to ensure that the public know that we are on their side and are challenging the world's banks?
