Proceeding contribution from William Cash (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 16 March 2010. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Dementia Strategy.

Dementia Strategy

The hon. Gentleman is making an important contribution; it is fascinating to hear him develop his argument. He has not yet addressed the question of demographics and the increase in the number of elderly and aging people, which must have a bearing on the future. Does he agree that in our desperate need to solve the tragic problem of dementia, we must find the means to relate it to the future and the increasing number of people who will inevitably be afflicted as they grow older?
