Proceeding contribution from Lady Hermon (Ulster Unionist Party) in the House of Commons on Monday, 22 March 2010. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on Justice and Northern Ireland.

Justice and Northern Ireland

I am so sorry to interrupt the Secretary of State, but he will he just reassure the people at home about the Policing Board in particular? He knows that it has been very successful and that there is unfortunately some disquiet that, when a justice scrutiny committee is set up in the Assembly, it might inadvertently undermine the Policing Board's confidence, role and status. Will the Secretary of State please address that issue?
