Proceeding contribution from Baroness Royall of Blaisdon (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 23 March 2010. It occurred during Debates on delegated legislation on Northern Ireland Act 1998 (Devolution of Policing and Justice Functions) Order 2010.
Northern Ireland Act 1998 (Devolution of Policing and Justice Functions) Order 2010
Yes, my Lords. I hear what the noble Lord says. My noble friend said that it is a bit like the Pugin Room. It probably is. Stormont Castle is not the base of the Secretary of State; Stormont House is. Therefore, we can conclude that the Secretary of State will retain Stormont House but not Stormont Castle. Have I got that wrong? Oh God.
