Proceeding contribution from Lord Knight of Weymouth (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 3 September 2009. It occurred during Grand Committee proceedings (HC) on Economic Downturn (Unemployment).

Members, for whatever reason, decide that they do not like the regional structures, regional Select Committee or regional development agency and refuse to engage with the opportunities that those bodies present, they fail their constituents.
