Proceeding contribution from Geoffrey Clifton-Brown (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 3 September 2009. It occurred during Grand Committee proceedings (HC) on Economic Downturn (Unemployment).
Economic Downturn (Unemployment)
I shall shortly be making a declaration in the Register of Members’ Interests. When my farm actually starts to pay me something, I shall have to do so, and I am sure that the Minister will be the first to look at it, after which he will be able to tell me whether I devote too much or too little time to my farming affairs. No doubt he would want me to spend more time on farming and less time on parliamentary affairs.
