Building Britain's Future

Reference was made during Question Time to the new investment that the Government have just announced, some of which is also coming to my constituency. My hon. Friend the Member for Nottingham, South pointed out how it is essential that all the relevant issues should be linked together and that energy efficiency, among other things, is an important component of the investment that is being made. My understanding is that that is indeed a major criterion lying behind the investment that is forthcoming. I wonder whether my hon. Friend can confirm that.
