Proceeding contribution from Chris Leslie (Labour) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 13 July 2010. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HC) and Debate on bill on Finance Bill.

Finance Bill

I entirely neglected to report in my earlier comments that the Baby Products Association, which is a bit like Save the Children, has also said that it considers""that VAT should not be increased for necessary purchases by new parents."" It has also said that it would support VAT remaining""at 17.5% on essential baby products to keep parenting affordable.""
