Proceeding contribution from Lord Clarke of Nottingham (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 7 December 2010. It occurred during Ministerial statement on Rehabilitation and Sentencing.
Rehabilitation and Sentencing
I entirely agree with the right hon. Gentleman. A lot of people in all three parties welcome this shift of policy. It is not particularly myself and my colleagues who believe this; it is quite obvious that it is a direction in which we should go. I look forward to having the assistance of the Select Committee and making sure that we get the details right and keep going in the right direction.
