Proceeding contribution from William Cash (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 8 March 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill on European Union Bill.

European Union Bill

On a point of information, I just wanted to put it to the right hon. Gentleman that the European conclusions of 4 February, to which he referred in the context of the eurozone and the other member states, specifically state:"““Non-euro members will be invited to participate in the coordination.””" They also state that it will be guaranteed that"““the Heads of State or government of the interested non-euro area Member States are duly involved in the process.””" I therefore do not think he was quite right to suggest that we would not be involved, because the conclusions state specifically that we will be. However, the whole system is completely crazy.
