Business question from Nicholas Dakin (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 31 March 2011. It occurred during Business statement on Business of the House.
Business of the House
I declare my interest as a former college principal. I was astounded to hear the Secretary of State for Education say on Monday that further education colleges, which the majority of post-16 students attend,"““do not have cafeterias or kitchens in place.””—[Official Report, 28 March 2011; Vol. 526, c. 59.]" Will the Leader of the House arrange for the Secretary of State to come to the House and put the record straight by apologising to students, staff and governors in colleges?
