Proceeding contribution from Lord Tomlinson (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 5 April 2011. It occurred during Committee of the Whole House (HL) and Debate on bill on European Union Bill.

European Union Bill

My Lords, in view of the extensive exchanges that we have had on Amendments 3 and 4 and the group starting with Amendment 5, and the number of issues on which the noble Lord, Lord Wallace, clearly has to reflect before coming back to the Committee, I shall not press my opposition to Clause 2 standing part. However, I shall return to it if the Minister’s reflections do not prove satisfactory. Clause 2 agreed.
