50: Clause 3, page 3, line 15, leave out subsections (3) and (4) and insert— ““(3) There is to be a Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime for the metropolitan police district and the City of London. (4) The Deputy Mayor for Policing and Crime is to be elected, and hold office, in accordance with Chapter 6. (4A) The person who has been given the title of deputy mayor and particular responsibility for policing and crime by the Mayor of London at the time this section is brought into effect is to be the occupant for the time being of the Mayor’s Office for Policing and Crime.””
