Point of order from Lord Watson of Wyre Forest (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 13 July 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill on Fixed-term Parliaments Bill.
Fixed-term Parliaments Bill
On a point of order, Madam Deputy Speaker. I apologise to the Minister and to you, but given the seriousness of the matter I wish to raise I must do so urgently. The Guardian newspaper has just issued a statement saying:"ββThe prime minister's account of why he failed to act on the information we passed his office in February 2010 is highly misleading.ββ" Have you had notice of an urgent response from the Prime Minister so that he can put the matter right at the Dispatch Box?
