Late Payments (SMEs)
I thank the hon. Gentleman for his intervention. I agree that that is an issue in some areas of the economy. We are calling on large businesses to sign up to the prompt payment code, and I can announce today that Oldham metropolitan borough council, which had not previously signed up, has agreed to do so.
