Proceeding contribution from Lord Freud (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 20 October 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Welfare Reform Bill.
Welfare Reform Bill
My Lords, to make myself absolutely clear, the scale that I was indicating—perhaps I should write on the precise figures—was in the 25 to 34 year-old group. I was not referring to the smaller group, but to the group that we are talking about. I am very happy to write to the noble Earl on the figures and the scale of the problem. Rather than spending a lot of time on that now, that is the best way for me to proceed.
