Proceeding contribution from Lord Freud (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 20 October 2011. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Welfare Reform Bill.

Welfare Reform Bill

If you want me to, I can name my noble friend Lord Skelmersdale, who has been regularly in his place. If the noble Lord would like me to, I can name my noble friend Lord Boswell, who has been regularly in his place. My noble friend Lord Newton apologised to me because he cannot be here. He said I might be pleased. I can assure the noble Lord that there is great enthusiasm for this Bill among Conservative Back-Benchers.
