Proceeding contribution from Charlie Elphicke (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 29 November 2011. It occurred during Debate on National Policy Statements.
National Policy Statements
I do not want to intrude on the private grief between Southampton and Liverpool. I represent Dover, which has a little less cruise business. It is also further way and can take a more dispassionate position. Does the hon. Lady not recognise that there is something of a state aid issue here and that that needs to be handled with extreme care?
