Proceeding contribution from Lord Swire (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Tuesday, 1 November 2011. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Youth Employment.

Youth Employment

I will make a deal with the hon. Gentleman. If I do not provide those figures within the next few minutes, I will write to him with them in due course. I have a sneaking feeling that, as I speak, they will be magicked out of thin air. The enrolment of under-25s on essential skills courses rose sharply from 3,001 individuals in 2008-09 to 5,152 in 2009-10. Committee adjourned without Question put (Standing Order No. 116(5)).
