Proceeding contribution from Ian Lavery (Labour) in the House of Commons on Wednesday, 1 February 2012. It occurred during Debate on bill on Welfare Reform Bill.

Welfare Reform Bill

Thank you, Mr Deputy Speaker. I am the sort of person who would not, in any event, agree to cuts for people on benefits who were suffering from debilitating or life-threatening diseases. That is the type of person I am. If you want to vote for that—my apologies. If it is the intention of yourself to vote for that, you do it.
