Succession to the Crown (Amendment). Lords debate on motion that an Humble Address be presented to Her Majesty praying that HM may allow that her undoubted prerogative and interest may not stand in the way of the consideration by Parliament in this session of any measure to remove the bar on a person who is not, or who is married to a person who is not, a Protestant to succeed to the Crown, and for connected purposes. Motion disagreed to on division (65 to 14).
