Written statement made by Lord West of Spithead (Labour) on Thursday, 10 December 2009 in the House of Lords, on behalf of the Home Office.

UK Border Agency

My honourable friend the Minister of State for Borders and Immigration (Phil Woolas) has today made the following Written Ministerial Statement. A revised version of the framework agreement for the UK Border Agency is being published today. The framework has been updated following the passage of the Borders, Citizenship and Immigration Act 2009. The new document reflects, in particular, the transfer of customs functions and staff to the Home Office from HM Revenue and Customs. Copies are available in the Libraries of both Houses.
