Member for Yeovil (Mr. Laws) on 18 January 2010. Table 1 relating to the number of married couples is incorrect. Additionally, the figure of 5,270 married couples who live in a household where all adults are in employment is missing from the table. (310671) The latest, available information requested is given in the table attached. The figures are from ONS's Annual Population Survey (APS) household datasets for the period January to December 2008. Information on the number of couples living apart is not collected and is therefore not presented. As with any sample survey, estimates from the APS are subject to a margin of uncertainty as different samples could give different results. [Corrected table included]
