Animal Procedures Committee: Membership
On behalf of the Home Office and the Minister for the Department of Health and Social Services and Public Safety for Northern Ireland, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Hilary Newiss to the Animal Procedures Committee, which provides Ministers with independent advice on the use of animals in scientific procedures. Following open and public competition, Ms Newiss replaces a member who had participated as a member of the Committee for two terms and had stepped down. I am grateful to her for accepting membership of this important advisory committee.
