Prisons: Wales

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Justice, what estimate he has made of the annual revenue cost of the proposed prison in North Wales.

Answer

The decision as to who will operate the prison in North Wales has yet to be made.

Any estimate of the likely annual revenue cost of the prison would be commercially sensitive and unsuitable for disclosure at this point.
