Great Western Main Line

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what his Department's estimate was of the cost of the Great Western Route Modernisation investment plan on the most recent date for which figures were available.

Answer

Some of the projects which make up the Great Western Route Modernisation have yet go through the ECAM process. But as the Hon Member is aware Sir Peter Hendy is currently reviewing the portfolio and will report back later in autumn.
