Social Security Benefits: Scotland
- Question
-
To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, pursuant to the Answer of 2 March 2015 to Question 225002, when his Department plans to publish statistics on the number of hardship applications and awards in Scotland; and for what reason those statistics were not published in May 2015.
- Answer
-
The Department intends to publish figures on the number of hardship applications and awards over the summer and I have asked my officials to set a publication date. This will allow more recent figures to be included than those that could be included in May. The publication will include figures covering the whole of Great Britain.
