To ask the Secretary of State for Health, if he will request that NHS England publish a timeline for the re-publication of a commissioning policy on (a) microprocessor knees, (b) multi-articulating prosthetic hands and (c) custom made silicon covers.

NHS England has advised that it has commissioned an independent evidence review in relation to microprocessor knees, multi-articulating prosthetic hands and custom made silicon covers which is expected to be complete by September 2015. A more detailed understanding of next steps including potential timelines will be possible once the evidence review has been considered by NHS England.
