¹ The Assuring Transformation collection covers England, but includes patients whose care is commissioned in England and provided elsewhere in the United Kingdom. These figures represent the number of patients who are receiving inpatient care at the end of each month. This is due to it not always being possible to back date key measures. As such figures here will not match those presented in table 1 which have been back-dated.
