To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, pursuant to the Answer of 29 June 2016 to Question 41097, what further information he has on the progress being made by the Danish authorities on the re-opened inquest into the death of Stephen O'Malley; and if he will make a statement.

The Danish authorities are conducting further enquiries as part of their investigation. We understand that they aim to conclude this by the middle of January 2017. Consular staff remain in contact with the Danish authorities and Mr O’Malley’s family.
