Cycling and Walking

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, what steps his Department has taken to ensure that the Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy tackles the barriers to children, women, older people and people with disabilities cycling and walking.

Answer

The draft Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy was published for consultation in March 2016. Question 4 asked for views on how to increase cycling and walking in under-represented groups. We are assessing responses to the consultation and we will set out our position in a Government Response.
