Social Security Benefits: Disqualification

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many benefit sanctions were imposed and later lifted by his Department in each of the last six years; what average length of time it took to reverse a decision to impose a sanction; and if he will make a statement.

Answer

The information requested on average length of time is not readily available and to provide it would incur disproportionate cost.
