Taxis: Standards

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, if he will introduce minimum national standards for taxi and private hire vehicle licenses.

The Government is currently considering the recommendations in the Law Commission report on taxi and private hire services, including those on standard setting. We will formally respond to the Law Commission and announce our intentions once that scrutiny is completed.
