Michael Moran

Question

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, what representations the Government is making to the Government of the Netherlands to answer questions raised on behalf of the family of Michael Moran who died in Holland on 1 January 2017; and if he will make a statement.

Answer

FCO ​Consular officials have sent a list of questions from the family to the Dutch Prosecutor leading on the case and have been advised that the Dutch authorities will provide the Moran family with answers to their questions. Officials are also helping the family to arrange a meeting with the Prosecutor and a representative from the police team.
